Creating a project with PhotoStory 3:

  1. Select Begin a new story and click Next
  2. Import your pictures
  • Click Import Pictures
  • Use green arrows to rotate if needed
  • Click Edit to crop a picture, to correct contrast, color levels, or red eye,or to add an effect
  • Rearrange pictures if needed
  • Save your project
  • Click Next

3. If desired, add a title to your pictures
  • Click on the desired image and type in the text box
  • You can change the color of the font, placement of the text
  • When finished, click Next.

4. Narration can be added to each picture by clicking on an image and then clicking the Red Record Button. When you are finished
with the narration, click the Black Stop Button.
  • Writing what you plan to say in the notes area will help the narration go smoothly

5. To add motion to your pictures, click on Customize Motion
  • Transitions for the pictures can be picked at this time by clicking on the Transition Tab.
  • When finished, click Next.

6. Adding Background Music
  • Click Select Music to add music you have saved on your computer. Remember copyright laws.
  • Click Create Music.
  • Choose desired Genre, Style, Band, Mood, Tempo, and Intensity from the listed choices.
  • To hear the selection, click Play.
  • When finished, click OK.
  • Click Preview to see your project.
  • When satisfied, click Next.

7. To save your project:
  • Decide how you want to save it and click Next.
  • Save your project.
